Thanks for visiting my blog - I hope to update it frequently. Hard to believe it is already June - we leave so soon! We are all extremely excited, as well as very busy preparing for the trip. Along with the curriculum, we have been learning Zulu - a truly beautiful language. Hopefully I will remember some of it! On Sunday, June 1st, our team participated in a self-defense class put on by Impact Chicago. It was a wonderful class - I think we all benefited greatly from it. The instructors were patient, helpful, and very passionate about their work!
